| So can you guess who is hiding behind this funny costume. She will be performing at Senior Camp as this well loved Veggie Tale! We had a great time making the costume. I totally didn't think the idea would work but I think it was successful!

| Saturday was family fun day. Sadly we did not have our camera but the fun did not stop because of that. In the morning the boys, Paul and myself went to the new Star Wars movie. We loved it! It was a nice time. After that we picked up Vanessa and went to a park. We walked for about 2 miles on the bike trail and then went over to the playground. Upon arriving Vanessa let go of Paul's hand and walked away. There were several children in the gravel with Wesley and William burying their feet and legs. Vanessa decided to join them. She walked over, sat right down and started scooping gravel over her feet. She later walked over to the steps and lifted her leg and called back for help cause it was too high. That was the last call for help. Next she climbed across the bridge and walked to the edge of the big slide. I heard Paul say "Do you think she can go down by herself" when all of a sudden I see her sliding down and landing on her bum right at the bottom. She loved it. Then she stood up and took the hand of one of the little boys playing and pointed to where she wanted to go. She was just one of the kids! Where did my baby go? This day Vanessa began to move away from my little baby. Am I sad? I would be lying if I said no but I am excited to learn who she will be! Isn't it fun to be a parent?

| I was asked to create a super hero for Women's Ministry Camp awhile ago. I asked all my friends for ideas. Finally, I came up with Wonder Bow.
I was a super hero who could bring good cheer to women far and near. I had villians to fight like PMSinator and Bad Hair Boy and Menopause Man.
Wonder Bow could leap a grumpy woman in a bound and turn her frown upside down.
What do you think...sounds cool right. Well what do you think of my costume? Did I go a little over the top? It was all in good fun. Believe it our not I was the winner of the contest. I didn't know it was a contest which made it even funnier! But I won a cape that said Super Hero Winner!

Baseball season is over. I have mixed feelings about that. It was amazing to see the growth of Wesley and William. Even the couch told Paul that those two boys improved more than anyone else on the team. The couch was a different kind of fellow but he did truly teach the boys many good lessons (and some not so good). - Play hard, give it your all, play as a team, if you do well you will be rewarded, if you do poorly you will be moved to a lesser posistion, cheer each other on, warm up, treat your body with respect, hit the ball like you will never get to hit it again.
The boys really gave it their all the majority of the time. They each scored several runs, got someone out on base, and learned the structure of the game. I think looking back on it , it was time well spent. | | |
| Yesterday was the boys school picture day so I dressed up Vanessa to have hers taken as well. Last night the photographer emailed me this photo. It was the first picture she took of the day. Out of 245 pictures, she was happy that the day started with this one! I will share the boys photos when I get them but this is all I have as of this moment. Hope you like it as much as I do. It is taken in front of the newly remodeled outpost, Damon Park!
